I 'm a long-time Replay owner (and contributor here). I'm thinking about buying a newer model and using my existing 2020 as a glorified manual VCR (i.e. just use manual records) without the ReplayTV service to record my own channels in my house RF distribution system. So what I want to do is create and control my own channel guide and use the modem port to connect to my Linux server t download it.


I can do all the Linux connectivity, ring support, my own programming, etc. What I don't have is any software to set up and send my own channel guide (and time of day) into the Replay device.


I heard somewhere that this exists, but could not find it on the internet or in sourceforge.

Can someone point me? I really don't want to go through the tedium of decoding the communications, especially if someone already did.
