PC-DVI/Video-DVI question (Bravo D1)

I will soon have a sharp M20X projector. Does anyone know if the DVI port is PC-DVI or Video-DVI? I was hoping to hook up a bravo D1 through custom settings. Do the new custom settings allow the DVI range (maybe the wrong term, but I believe this is related to the brightness) to go from 0-255 or just the DVI-video range (15-255)? Is there a service mode tweaking possibility on either the M20X or Bravo? I have to admit I am somewhat confused, but I would think if soimething is expecting a 0-255 range signal and only gets 15-255 it will produce a gray instead of black? I find it ironic that the Sansung HD931 outputs 0-255, but has HDCP so it is useless for DVI-1 (but would provide the perfect signal range for the M20X), and the Bravo D1 outputs 15-255 and does not have HDCP.
