Do you mean will a receiver with HDMI inputs and outputs handle an HDMI output signal from a computer graphics card with an HDMI output? Sure -- up to the max resolution supported by the recevier.

If you mean will a receiver take some OTHER style of input from a PC and convert it to HDMI output, that depends on what you are sending it.

Well, if the receiver has a DVI or HDMI connector you can use the DVI or HDMI output on the computer. Use appropriate DVI/HDMI converter cable as needed. You won't get any sound from this, until PCs get sound support over HDMI. Not sure if or when that will happen.

But beware if your computer has a DVI output. In that case you need to deal with the distinction between Studio RGB (as used for home theater) and Extended RGB (as used by typical computer graphics cards). If you get a mismatch here then black levels will be wrong (easy to see) and colors may also be wrong (much harder to see).
