PC to HDTV Through DVI?

171 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  smcallis
Hey guys, I'm still in the planning stages for my HTPC and I'm trying to figure out how to physically connect the PC to the TV. Naturally, I want the best image quality possible. I've got an nvidia fx 5200 card I'm eyeing and it has a DVI out. My HDTV (A mitsubishi WS-55313) has a dvi connector on the back. As I understand it, there's some standard differences between the two, I want to know if it's possible to connect them that way. Other suggestions are also appreciated. Also, how do you guys have your audio connected, amp, no amp? It's only going to be going through the TV speakers for now, so bear that in mind. Thanks for any help!
