Hi guys,
Probably this is an easy question but I have not found a satisfying answer online yet.
I have a Sony HT-XT1 soundbase, connected to my Samsung UE55H6410 TV via HDMI (ARC). The other option that my TV lets me chose is DTS Neo 2:5.
The issue I have is that when PCM is selected (it is the default), the sound output is very low compared to DTS Neo 2:5 and also compared to a direct HDMI or bluetooth connection between the soundbase and my laptop or phone.
My question is why that is the case, and if selecting the DTS Neo 2:5 will downgrade the audio quality. Maybe there is a way to increase the output volume in PCM?
Thank you and kind regards,
Jurij
