Just ordered the PSW model and the salesperson says that that mounting it onto metal studs is no problem...should i believe him(actually the Peerless company markets them that way)...still abit skeptical...up to now i was gonna put apiece of plywood but obvioudly would rather not!

Wait until you see the mount before you decide on the installation. My experience with flat Peerless mounts is that they are very sturdy (well worth the cost) and fairly flexible (as in installation options).
