I have a pellet gun and a huge basement. I see traps that will catch BB's that don't hit the mark and contain damage. This could be sick!

Here's some clay targets. I'd like some holders for them and a huge foam backboard to contain strays. Remember the carnival games we played as kids? Well, this would be taking it to another level. I have about a 30 foot area that can easily accomodate this.

I had a range in my parent’s basement 25 years ago. The back and side walls were covered with 2" insulating foam. It stops and holds the BB's well. I set up a pulley system with a clip to hold a paper target (the range extended into the crawl space). It worked well and was a blast.


The steel targets may cause the BB's to deflect in an unpredictable manner so be careful.

wow, that sounds sick. I actually took a youtube of my basement, but I'm in the process of cleaning it up (full of clutter). Still unsure of this idea though. Liability is the limiting factor. Some drunk friend takes one in the eye and bye bye home

In my youth we did some limited target practice with 22 rifles in the basement, Stack of firewood was the backstop.
