Hi,

I want to make a jump from my current B6 to a newer generation OLED. Philips interests me because of their Ambilight feature. I have six Hue lights in my HT and I thought the viewing would be more immersive. The LG seems interesting for the HDMI 2.1 feature and the fact that they have the brightest HDR output and TV-led versionb of Dolby Vision. Which DV version does the Philips have? I can’t seem to find any reviews on the Philips, so I reach out to owners of this model which can help me decide between the two.

The OLED804 has just been released. I haven't found any user reviews yet, but there are at least three site reviews: at Homecinema Magazine (Dutch), Home Cinema Choice and Trusted Reviews. The peak luminance of this TV and the C9 is comparable, according to the measurements of Homecinema Magazine.

Yes, I have read those. But they don’t describe which Dolby Vision profile is implemented. I am looking for a TV-led option, like the LG and the Panasonic.

Speaking of the latter, the flagship 2019 OLED model of the Panasonic brand is anticipated by many forum members and is also not available in the US, still there are a lot of topics about this specific model. So why not on the Philips 804?
