Philips 963A Upgrades
Has anyone sent there Philips in to have it upgraded? There are some places out there that are supposed to be good at upgrading the unit on the SACD and CD side. I also heard in improves Video.

His name is Douglas Jesse and the company is ASI and they offer an upgrade package for the 963sa or will do custom modding also.
They have a website but I can't remeber it so you can ask Doug.
I beleive it only takes two weeks time to have full mods whith a superclock 2 with its own power supply,Blackgate caps in the main power supply and the signal paths,solid silver wiring and dampening of the chasis ect.
Asi is located in metro Detroit and I highly reccomend Doug.

Earz: thanks for the info, that is who I have been talking to... Just seeing if there is anyone else who is doing it also to compare prices and what is being done to the unit. It shoulds like the way I am going to go.

Out of curiosity what is the cost of such upgrades?
