Philips DVD-962SA

one question from germany:

i need a dvd player with progressive scan in pal for my new epson tw-100.

i think, the philips dvd-962sa is ok, but have all 962sa codefree + pal progressive scan 576p or only the modell on the www.************* homepage ?

Euro versions of 962SA don't have Faroudja chipset, hence they can't be made progressive at all.


Asian version can be hacked to PAL prog and codefree with the information from the following thread:

US version isn't for sale yet.


In my opinion Hivizone is a good place to shop and their price is decent.
