Hi there!
I've just received my Philips DVP 5990/37, installed the V31 firmware update, then tried to access the "Preference" menu. I followed the instructions in the 'User Manual' (first tried the "Setup" button; this failed; then hit the "Stop" button twice, then the "Setup" button, same result), but have not been able to access anything except the "General Setup Page" menu (there are 3 additional menus: "Audio Setup," "Video Setup," and "Preference"). Anybody have a solution to this problem?
