Philips projector

I work in a University. Recently we bought two philips projectors b-sure 1(1200 lumens, contrast 300:1).

I am planning to buy one Panasonic AE-300. But when i connected a DVD to the philips, i felt a little confused. While the light in the scene was present, the image was very good for my needs (no screendoor), but when the scene was inside a house i couldn't discriminate nothing clearly. The furnitures, tv set an bed had almost dissapeared.

Is this going to happen also with the Panasonic?. The problem is that i can't see it before buy.

Thanks in advance.

Hola, Pablo.

Those projectors you mention don't have very good shadow detail. Both the Panasonic AE300 and the new Sanyo PLV-Z1 should fare much better.
