Ok, so this is admitedly a minor issue, but it's bugging me...
My Pronto TSU9200 has been losing the paint on the back surface, due to a couple scratches & general wear. The remote works fine, I'd just like to see if there's anything I can use to touch it up cosmetically.
I picked up a couple different kinds of plastic spray paints from the Home Depot & did a color test on some scrap plastic, but they really don't match - far too metalic & "sparkly". The Philips has a sort of nickle/aluminum sheen to it; satin finish, rather than gloss.
Does anyone know what type of paint they use, or a substitute that would be a good match? The plastic underneath is a not unatractive silver, so I wouldn't be adverse to just removing the coat altogether, if it can be done safely.
Thanks.
