On Comcast HD cable in the Twin Cities (and everywhere, I presume) we have the ironic spectacle of the same MLB game (Phillies @ Braves) being presented on both ESPN-HD and INHD1.
Why ironic, you say? Well, ESPN-HD is showing the game in ordinary 4:3 fuzzvision, while ESPN's announcers are sitting right next to the INHD announcers whose equipment is perfectly capable of being shared by both. There's absolutely no reason in the world why ESPN's obnoxious announcers couldn't talk against the backdrop of INHD's beautiful hi-def feed. This kind of thing is done all the time when there are audiences who speak different languages.
