Hi All, first time poster - hopefully someone here can help me.

I've recently put together a small mini-itx HTPC with i3 processor and Pico PSU 160.

The moment I plug the power cable into the back of the machine, the case fan and CPU fan start up - as well as the Message LEDs - but the PC is 'off'.

Now, I don't want the fans running and the whole PC running in this fashion unless I turn it on - but even when I turn on the box and try to shut it down it will keep the fans running.

I've tried with a full size PSU and don't seem to have this problem - so I've decided it must be the Pico PSU that is faulty. Has anyone here has a similar experience of confirm that is the case?

Many thanks,

Mike.

I've had similar experience with DC power boards. They were defective. I would exchange it.
