I have a Dalite Model B screen which I like but I was thinking of something different to add a good finishing touch to the home theater. What I was considering was simply taking a piece of drywall (or similar) painting it, then putting a nice wide black molding around the perimeter. The idea would be to make it look like a painting on the wall. Has anyone done this? If so please show some pics.

Thanx,

Kerry

Why don't you take the material out of the model B and attach it to a frame? It will be a lot lighter than drywall. I did something similar with artists canvas that was stretched over a frame. Once this was done I wrapped some cheap door casing in black felt and attached it to the front of the screen. There are a lot of posts in the forum that are quite similar, if you search around you'll get lots of ideas.
