Hi Guys and Gals

Got this problem:

TT 2.3 suttenly freezes, and TT is out of reach. Cant do anything but force it to close.

This only happens in so far one movie, but at random times.

I have tried disabeling FFDSHOW, still the same.

CPU usage spikes heavily on this particular movie (40 days and 40 nights)

I use the latest Nv driver.

I'm lost on this, plz help.

Could be something wrong with your disk or some form of DRM. Get a copy of AnyDVD and try it again.

Dave
It's playing from HD, just like my other movies. No RCE or anti copy blabla.

Simply just stops in the middle of nowhere

Is it playing off a network share?
Nope, one of ..... well a bunch of SATA2 disks hooked up to the MOBO. Other movies from the same disk are OK, so I was wondering if something with that exact movie ticks off the drivers. Or maby it could be, that something has gone wrong during ripping? But what puzzels me is, that it happens on random times in that movie.
Maybe your HTPC has acquired artficial INTELLIGENCE and doesn't like this movie ;)
I've had the same problem from time to time my solutions were to clean the disk...when a disk is being used.. or to turn off some of the processing in TT, such as FFdshow, or Fullscreen, sometimes adjusting the buffer helps too.
Does color set to 32 bits? In my experience, I've the machine unfreezed w/ color setting changed from 16 to 32 bits.
