My 2 friends purchased them and love them they had them for a bout a month now without any issues. Everything is preinstalled. This guy might have just got a bad box but 1 year warranty he can get a new one.I was curious what other users thought.

The design really looks like those typical Chinese boxes. I have a Tronfy MX4 myself (which is like a Beelink MX3+ / Tronsmart). Looks identical. Specs are the same too.
So far I'm quite happy with my Tronfy.
I know this Tronfy MX4 TVbox, well done in playing HD movies, many free channel to watch with great values. Recommended!

Tronfy is not that popular as Tronsmart or Beelink. But they provide video add-ons and some known apps such as VLC, HBO Go, etc. That's their characteristic!
Tronsmart is widely known now. When i heard it at first time, i don't even think it'll grow up like this.
Just insist and i believe they all go better!

over at freaktab Tronfy support posted a tutorial for updating their firmware.
they added some apps and updated to kodi 14.2
