Hi,

I understand that Pio 43 media box doesn't accept PAL pro signals from hacked DVD-players (I guess on YUV). But there are players which can output PAL-progressive on RGB (scart ?). One could use the PC input (Scart RGB or D15-VGA) (I am getting confused now) to feed PAL Pro...

Does anyone know if this would function ?

(I fancy with the Pio 43 and do not want to miss the comfort of the media box (Teletext etc). The question is: Is there a way to feed this beast with PAL pro dvd signals via RGB/VGA ?)

Thx for replies

I know we coudn't get a PAL progressive signal from component into the 503 HDE media box, not tried a 433 though.

I've not seen Progressive on anything other than component, but I'd certainly test it out though since the media box outputs everything via the DVI I wouldn't be surprised to find that all the inputs end up going throught the same internal conversion path so it is at least possible that it isn't just component that would have the problem.
