Pio 4312 Speaker Attachment

Does any Pio 4312 (Costco model) owner know if the included speakers can be attached to the bottom, rather than the sides? They can be with the 4340/41/45, but I don't recall on the 4312.

Thanks.

Nope. They only mount to the sides. The manual for the table top stand tells you there are different mounting holes if you use speakers on the sides or the bottom; however, the speakers only attach to the sides. This is because the 2 speakers attached legnthwise would be longer than the width of the TV. The 4340/41/45 has speakers that are shorter and able to be mounted on the bottom.
I may "place" the speakers behind the unit in my TV niche, just need to figure out how to do so. Sound quality is not a big deal as they would be used only for basic stuff. All main stuff will go through the Sony HTIB.
