Hi,

Just curious, when listening to music cds or audio via ipod/usb etc, what audio settings have you found to be the "most pleasing" to you?

I have the Paradigm Cinema 110 set up which is fine for movies (speakers set to small and I have the adp rears cranked up a bit more).

Do you use a different preset when listening to audio cds?

Thx,

Vito

I have a 9040 with Definitive Technology ProCinema 800 speakers and an ED A3-300 sub. For ipod/USB I use sound retreiver. For CD and streaming FLAC from a PC I use pure direct.

I have tone bypass on for all of the inputs that I use.

I've tried some of the settings that simulate surround, but prefer the 2.1 output.

The sound retreiver setting really seems to help with MP3.

The best thing to do is to play around and see what sounds best to you.

Overall, I've been really happy with this setup for both music and movies.
