Ok guys I've done my homework for the most part and I really have my heart set on getting this TV for my bedroom. The Panny's came a close second though. I'm looking to get a decent 0% financing deal, good price and probably a extended warranty. The best deal I could find is at BB with a 10% coupon...is this the best I can do?

Also I have read that this TV will need to be broken in, is this really necessary and what process am I looking at?

Please PM with your opinions.

unless you go from an online retailer, the best you can do at the moment is BB w/ 10% rewards and hope the price drops back down a couple hundred bucks like it did a month or so ago.

The break in process isn't totally necessary as Pioneer has measures inherent in the TV to prevent burn-in, etc... but it's recommended.

If you're going to get the set calibrated, I'd break it in for 100 hours or so...

If you don't want to break in just remember it's your ~$2k!

But seriously, leave your TV on cartoon network - full screen for like a week whenever you're not around.

You can only do good by breaking it in...
