I did lots of reading earlier this year and narrowed my decision down to a Denon 3803 or Pioneer 45tx. Decided on a 45tx in June, but had to wait for some extra cash. Come back reading to see nobody is selling them : (
Did some local research and found a floor model that the owner will sell me for $800 (with 2 year warranty). Anyone know of a better deal still available on this receiver? Maybe I should look into the Denon again....
A little about me:
Wanting to replace my Sony from ~1994. Probably about 60% audio (CD/DVD/DAT) vs 40% HT use at this point. Currently tinkering with a HTPC. Haven't upgraded the speakers yet, have Infinity speakers from Fall 1995 that were about $400 each. Don't know the model numbers, got them off the floor as well. Three mids and 1 tweeter in each speaker. I know, that probably doesn't help at all. Will be adding surround and subwoofer eventually.
Anyway, just looking for some advice. I am strongly considering picking up the 45tx.
Thanks in advance to anyone who bothers to read/reply to my ramblings. Also thanks for all the great stuff on this forum!

ps - I'm not trying to start another Denon/Pioneer debate : )
