Okay, I have had my 5020 for 6 weeks now, and I am well past the break in period. I have been using the "movie mode" reference settings for my standard watching and games. Should I be okay to start adjusting the contrast and brightness? If I am at 38 contrast now, how high can I safely raise it? Same with brightness?

An Orbiter mode question. What is the difference in the modes? Is it...

Mode 1 - works with all displays EXCEPT Dot-by-Dot?

Mode 2 - works with all displays INCLUDING Dot-by-Dot?

or

Mode 2 - ONLY works with Dot-by-Dot?

You should not adjust brightness/contrast beyond what you have at 38 because it will start clipping from there, So you are using D-nice refrence settings? their should be a movie mode and im not sure if theirs a performance mode.

orbiter leave it on mode 2 and use dot by dot
