Trying to decide between a Pioneer 6020 and a Pany 58" V10. Should I be concerned about the Pioneer's warranty and availablity of replacement parts if something goes wrong with the tv? Prices are close to the same. Looking for any input you have.

The 58V10 is one fine set, but not in the same league when it comes to measured contrast. As an owner of a 5020, I would definitely choose the Pioneer. You will give up some in the way of picture adjustments, but the richness of the picture with .001 MLL is well worth it. You will understand once you get it home.

I owned 50G10, and got a 5020. I can say for sure get the Pioneer. The Panasonic is a decent tv, especially considering the MSRP of both sets. But the Pioneer picture is just way better.
