My 6070 has turned itself off twice this week. Anyone run into this problem? It just happens - I just turn it back on with no apparent problems. It seems to happen rabdomly.

Do you have an OTA antenna connected to it, or the TVGOS enabled?

If "yes", see this thread

No antenna. I put 0000 in the zip code so that isn't problem.
How are your sources connected to the PDP?
DVR by HDMI and DVD by HDMI. No other inputs are used. Does that make a difference?
does it give you a 5 minute warning before shutting down? It has this setting to avoid burn in where it shuts down after 3 hours.
Providing there are no flashing blue lights at shut off, I'd check to see if your 6070 is in standby mode Page 67 of the manual and also I use a sat box (622) that has an inactivity stanby setting that I had to change settings as it would turn off the plasma after a few hours if no activity was detected, these settings can be adjusted.

I didn't notice a warning but there could have been since I had the TV on and was working on my computer when the TV just shut down. I didin't know it had a self shut down burn in mode - not that I want to turn the feature off but can it be turned off?

No flashing blue light. I was watching it and it just turned off so there was a signal.

Yes, read pg 67 of your manual.

Do you mean "No Operation" section? I knew about this, so does it mean that if I don't do anything and just leave it on and watch it then every 3 hours it will turn off? I guess that's what they mean by no operation right? So if I change the volume that should count as an "operation"?
Yes you are correct in your statement. Any operation of the tv should restart the 3 hrs, at least from what the manual states. I haven't tried it myself so I can only go by what the manual states.
