I've got a Pioneer 811S and a Home Theater Direct Level 2 setup (with a Level 3 subwoofer upgrade).
I'm wondering if anyone else out there uses the Loudness feature on their receiver. The sound is very thin unless I have the loudness button on all the time. Volume level doesn't really matter, it always sounds thin unless loudness is on. The loudness buttoin gives it a much more richer sound. I don't think it is the HTD system because I get the same problem if I hook up my old Cerwin Vega's - need to use loudness to get a much better sound.
Does anyone else experience this?
