I have a Pioneer DV-400 it will play a cd but DVD will come up "no disc" and nothing will play , its out of warranty and would like it to work any ideas ?

to the world of DVD players that are now CD players

I have a Samsung that lasted a whole 13 months.

It will play 1 out of say, 25 DVD's. But will play CD's like nothing is wrong.

and yes they are clean and not scratched.

Others have other models.

No one has offered a solution except to next time buy one that cost less then 50 dollars.


You can open it up and clean the lense, and that might work.

It didn't for me.
