Hi,
I just got a Pioneer Elite 1140HD. I was hoping to use the speakers that come with as center speakers. I have a receiver with front channel speakers. I wasn't too sure at what audio information is transmitted over the HDMI cable, but it appears to be all channels.
How can I set the 1140HD speakers to be the center channel? Is it okay to connect the center speakers to the center channel of the stereo? The manual says not to do so...
It sounds like the audio of the receiver is slightly offset with the TV speakers anyway, so going through the receiver seems the only viable option...
