So I have been hearing rumblings that people are having issues using the higher end elites 82/84 with the ps3 only when playing games. I'd like to hear from more people who have the setup, do you guys have any problems when displaying 1080p? Any video or sound drop outs?


Several people have said they experience video/sound drops over 1080p when playing games on the ps3 running through the receiver.


So lets hear it guys, do we have a real problem on our hands or something that is sporadic?

I haven't had a single problem running the PS3 via HDMI to my 82. No problems passing 1080p either.

I haven't had any particular problems with my Pioneer Elite 84 and the PS3 with games. There has always been a lag when switching between sources via HDMI. I recently upgraded the firmware for the Pioneer and it has definitely improved the sound quality on BR movies played on the PS3.
