I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but you guys seem to know what you're talking about.

I have a Pioneer Elite PRO-1009W, a pre-HDTV widescreen elite that I purchased just over 2.5 years ago. This evening I turned it on to find that the screen framing had bumped up about 6 inches, with a slight curving upward of the bottom of the screen. There doesn't appear to be any way to adjust this on regular menus.

My questions are: 1) do you have any idea of what this might be (e.g. a burned out chip/filter or somesuch) and/or 2) do you know how to access any more-extensive service menus that might let me correct the problem.

I am suspecting that some little bit of electronics has popped causing the CRTs to aim a bit higher than they should, but it is very odd. This is a wonderful set with a great picture, and I really would like to make it last until the 2002 Elites are available this fall.

Help!
