While I was watching a football game on my one week old 5070HD it abruptly shut down. The blue power on light flashed twelve times space flash 12X space untill I unplugged the display. After a couple of minutes I plugged it back it and it is working.

The TVGOS is the issue. It's been report by numerous plasma owners.

D-Nice, Thanks for the reply. The display is otherwise perfect. Since it has no bad pixels I wamt to keep it. Since I use Directv mostly disabling the TV Buide is no big deal.
I am reassured that it is not a major problem. If it happens again I will disable the guide.
