Anyone have any information on a new flagship Pioneer receiver to replace the 59TXi?


Did Pioneer abandon CES 2007 and show no new non-blu ray products?

Pioneer showed new lower end AVRs.. with XM Ready and Sirius capability..


Regarding the Elite AVRs..

The Pioneer guy I talked with said the Elite flagship and replacements for the 82 and 84 are pushed back due to the HDMI 1.3 situation..

Expect these in the July/August time frame for IFA and CEDIA introduction..


Also they showed their new Elite Blu Ray player...

And Elite 1080p plasma panels..

Picture quality looked superb..

But pricey compared to the competition..
