I have a Pioneer Kuro type 427XA which is defect. I just installed a new Ysus since I got the 6 times red led error.

In the service manual it says:

Y DCDC PD Y DRIVE Assy:

Abnormality in the VOFS DC/DC converter

Abnormality in the VPRST DC/DC converter

Abnormality in VC_15V DC/DC converter

Where is the Y DCDC, located? Because it is on the Ysus right?

I downloaded the manual here:

Who can help me further, maybe this is a known problem or there might be something else wrong. I can't see anything abnormal visually.

So no popped caps or something.

I did buy a brand new Y drive but the problem is still there. Maybe some other members know this problem.

I heard also things about defect scan ic's. (lower and upper ic drives)

Yes I found the problem, it were one or more defect scan IC

This one is broken for sure.

Now the problem. It seems that the bands of the screen is glued to the bufferboards. I am used to bufferboards with connectors.

Can I replace the bufferboards on this screen?

Who can help me further?
