Hi, i have my new 151 and have a silly question .when you turn off the tv with the remote i noticed it only puts it in standby and was wondering if it is there is a way for the remote to turn it off completely or if your should turn it off everytime your done watching it using the power button on the panel ? or if it matte or is bad for the tv to leave it in standby when not watching ? thanks

The only way to turn the TV completely off, is to press the physical power switch on the TV, or unplug it from the wall.


Don't worry about leaving it in standby - this is the way every other TV works. The Pioneer's are somewhat unique that they provide an actual switch to turn the TV completely off, while most other TV's require you to unplug them.

I believe the 9G Pioneers have a very low standby power, like .3 Watts.
