During the pioneer sc-61 setup I have connected the "HDMI Out"

on the receiver to one of the 4 "HDMI IN" terminals on the samsung tv (HDMI 3). When I try and connect the TV to the receiver during the "full auto MCACC" step ("Turn on the TV's power and switch the TV's input to the input to which the receiver is connected. The GUI is displayed from the receiver. Check it.)" I get an error message on the tv monitor that says "No Signal- check connected device's power, cable connection, and source selection". I have followed the instructions, used three different HDMI cables (to ensure that one of the cables wasn't bad), and changed the HDMI input on the back of the TV. I still get the same error message so cannot complete the MCACC setup. My guess is that the TV and receiver are not communicating.

Has anyone had a similar problem, or have an idea of how to resolve the issue?

My equipment is:

Samsung UN55C 6500 HDTV

Pioneer Elite SC-61

Bowers and Wilkins CM9 tower speakers

Bose center speaker

Samsung BluRay player BD-C6500

Please help!

Thanks, vonbonds. Am still getting the same error message. I can't figure out why the receiver and TV are not communicating via the HDMI cable. Am hoping someone might jump on this thread.
