I was wondering if the iScan Pro video processor would help the picture quality of my Dishnetwork 6000 output to my Pioneer HD-510PRO?

The component HD channels of the 6000 are great but the s-video output (or the component output) of the non HD channels suck.

Is the video processor in the Pioneer as good as the iScan Pro?

Thanks

Scott,

If you haven't read the IScan Pro review at Plasma TV Buying Guide, check it out at: IScan Pro Review . The author tests the IScan with a Philips plasma and reports an improvement in picture quality. The same may not be true with your Pioneer.

Scott, I just got the Ultra with My 6000 and the non-HD stuff is the best I have ever seen. You will love the aspect control as well for letter boxed broadcasts also. Very useful. You'll be pleased with the results for sure.
