Hello people, my first post here!

The problem I have is this one:

I was sitting down yesterday and playing music from my computer to my amp. When I was looking back on the amp. I saw in the diplay window that one of the volume numbers was gone... The master volume has 2 numbers indicating (-25 for example) the number 5 is gone, so I only see -2 now...

I havent touched anything, the remote was laying on the bed and noone was in the room exept me :)

So pls someone help me, this is anoying for me!

Blown display?

What happens when you turn the volume control?

Do you get numbers lighting up in the 2nd digit column?

Does the first column still count properly with the volume level?

Is the second number even faintly lit?

If not seems like a LED is out and a trip to the shop is in order - you have an Elite 2 year warranty? I am not sure about European warranties, but the US Model has 2 years.

When I turn up the volume control I can see the first column count properly... the second number is just black, like it is damaged or something.

So when I turn up/down the volume I can only se the first number changing, -2.... -3..... -4 not -20...-21...-22 and so on....

I have a good warranty so that should not be any problem, but to take that heavy thing out from the rack is making me angry :)

iTis,

I suggest that you reset your machine per the instructions. You will need to re-run MCACC after the re-set. I suspect that your computer sent some code to your receiver that caused the problem.

You may want to unplug your receiver for a minute and try a cold boot before you try the reset to avoid the loss of your current settings.
