Ok, so i'm back at it again, i have a receiver that the center channel is blown (totally my fault, 2 speaker wires touched while live) , all other channels work perfectly. so i got around to taking it apart, so i wasn't getting what i thought was a good continuity reading between the middle 2 pins of a 6 pin relay with multimeter..where on all the other channels i did...so i swapped it with a known working one, and still same problem. no go on the center channel. i tested each channel at the speaker output and checked the resistance, and every channel tested, at about 1.6 , but the center channel just kept going up..so i know something is up, just not sure what, any suggestions ? maybe output transistor ? just not sure what to check, i hate to take it to a shop that will charge probably 150 bucks or so for a part that probably only costs $1. open to all suggestions, just not sure what to check. Thanks....just a bit frustrating without a center channel.
