Yesterday I turned my exterior deck speakers (2 channel) on for the first time since I purchased the Pioneer 49TXi receiver. The speakers sounded a bit weak (no bass) compared to my old Onkyo flagship receiver. It appears that the Pioneer can be run as speakers a, b, a&b or none. The Onkyo ran a or b but no a&b capability. The Onkyo had the ability to configure a & b seperately.

At any rate, I looked for a way to equalize the b speakers on the Pioneer and there doesn't appear to be a way. I've read over the manual and can't find an option to do this. Is the subwoofer 80 hertz filter on speaker a setup robbing my base from the b setup?

Anyone running speakers b in another room? If so, were you able to configure b seperately?

Thanks in advance
