Ditching computer speakers. Found some Mirage Omni 150 on sale.

Then found Pioneer VSX-523 for $200 taxes in and Denon AVR-1613 $275 taxes in. Which would you take? Denon has more features and looks to be of better build quality.

I am using a Audinst HUD-MX1 as the dac and computer will be the only source connected. So my only concern is the amp quality and reliability.

Yeah I think the Denon is the one I am going to keep.

These two reviews spell it out quite nicely I think. Not the exact same models but I think a fair comparison of the amps in these "entry level" receivers. Denon has a cleaner output. I have no way of directly A/Bing them but the Denon did seem batter capable to drive the Mirage 150's. Both of these receivers beat out the Onkyo HT-RC430 that I had last week. Sounded like garbage.
