Pioneer VSX-811S Dead?
Hi folks, I've really enjoyed my ol VSX-811S over the years. It broke the other night...I was jammin out at full power and it cut off and will only cut on for a short while and not show a display. I have it unplugged because I don't want the thing catching fire or something.
I know this is a 10 year old receiver...however, can it be fixed easily? I just don't have the cash right now for a new 7.1 receiver and am wondering if its a typically issue that can be resolved for a low price...or if its history. Either way is no big...just wondering.
If its a $40 dollar job at an electronics store I'll get it fixed...or a DYI job...

It's served me well over the years with a polk speaker set up and powered polk sub...
