If you like what you hear, why do you need other people to tell you if you've made a bad choice or not?

Have fun with your setup!

;)
thanks, I am just asking, I dont hear much of a difference with the sub on, the speakers have lots of bass alone, I am wondering if I should get a different sub, or just return it.

Other than that, it sounds great, and the pioneer elite reciever has lots of features

Depends on how much you paid for the sub and if you would rather by locally or online. You'd have to get just below the $200 mark with the Athena AS-P4000 or just above with the Bic H-100. Both of these would be better choices imo but would require you to purchase online.

excellent choices on receiver and speakers tho, nothing can beat them at their price point.
I would like to buy the sub localy, but I am thinking of getting a stf-1/stf-2 from hsu, but that will just make me go way over my buget. I would probably go with out a sub because the speakers have enogh power, but most of the audio I will be playing is dolby digital 5.1, and the lfe would get lost if I didnt have a sub, am I right?
if your setup is correct you wont lose any LFE info unless you are trying to listen to 5.1 SAC/DVD-Audio (and the receiver does not do bass management on the analog inputs)
