Just got home to find both Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl waiting for me on the front porch.


I have only played scenes from both discs, but oh my God, we have a new benchmark in HD quality folks, yes better then even King Kong or Crank.


I will post a complete review of each later this weekend or early next week.

I'm drooling all over the couch thinking about these movies. I preordered from Amazon already. How did you get your movies so quick? I hope Amazon gets them to my house on or before release day. Last time I preordered movies from an unmentioned company; they didn't get them to me until a more than a week after the release day. Are both movies equal in PQ? Have fun with them and give us some screen shots please.

You know, i keep asking myself if i really need these movies as i only seem to watch each of them once but if they are as good as you are saying in terms of PQ i may just have to pick them up on the 22nd.
