For the last two evenings, I've had horrible pixellation and drop-outs on HBO-HD, SHO-HD, DSC-HD and even the HD demo channel. Oddly enough, HDNET Movies comes in just fine, no problem.

Anyone else having these problems? I checked earlier in the day and they were all fine. But for some reason, when the sun goes down, they screw up.

I havent seen any problems. Maybe check your 61.5 dish signal strength..since the new HDNet channels are on Dish500, I wouldnt expect them to have problems simultaneously with the other HD programming.

One way to check this....you probably have DiscoveryHD on 9420 and 9421 since adding the HD Pack. If you see pixellation on one of them, compare with the other. Since they're on seperate satellites, you can at least start to verify or rule out a reception issue with this test.

Check your signal strength on transponders 4, 16, and 28 on the 61.5 satellite.

Odd that it only happens at night...

It's possible Isabel moved around my 61.5 dish. I'll check the signal strength when I get back home this weekend. But wouldn't it be affected all of the time, not just at night?
