I am just figuring out how im going to design my home theatre room.

I have a front projector with a 106" screen Is it possable to place speakers behind the screen or will it screw up the sound? Would there be enough space between the left/centre/right speakers to give propper seperation? Would it muddle the sound too much having the screen in front of the speakers? Would having the speakers up against the wall screw up the sound? {my speakers port out the front and are the exact same speaker across the front!!

Any help would be greatly apreciated. If any one has done this or has pictures?

Thanks Eric

I'm not a big fan of putting speakers behind screens or in-wall for that matter. But can you do it, yes, you will need a perforated screen.

Your speakers being front ported may be a problem. If your HT room is very wide then hiding your speakers behind your screen may be a concern. Speaker separation with a wide screen should not be a problem. A member named PAP is a big fan of having speakers behind his screen, which is a DIY Coated Celtic Cloth. I suggest you PM him for advise.
