Hi everyone,


I just picked up Planet Earth. I know some people don't like the packaging, but I actually like it. I like that 4 discs can be held in something that's the same basic dimensions as a single HD-DVD case.


I've seen vendors selling single empty HD-DVD cases, but does anyone know where I may be able to buy double, triple, or quadruple HD-DVD cases? I have several homemade HD-DVDs, and it would be great to put them on the shelf amidst my regular HD-DVDs.

I think they started a thread about this but to chime in...I AGREE. I dig the packaging. All those discs and so little space taken up. I assume the Matrix is gonna do the same thing. I like it.

I really like how it blends in with all my other HD DVD movies. I was thinking about ordering 4 individual HD DVD cases and making a custom cover based on each disc, but I really like the case it comes in.

I like it too.. I just dont like the cardboard box they come in.. mines allready kinda beat up. I guess I could ditch it, but I hate to alter original packaging.

From the pics release by users who have recieved the set early, at least the Complete version, maybe not the Ultimate, the Matrix Collection goes the Mission Impossible route with a cardboard outlay and three full size HD-DVD cases. Just as in the M:I situation, they will most likely be released at a later time individually, something that cannot be said for PE. So it kind of makes sense...


I'd post pics of the Matrix set if I knew how, but I'm sure you can find the thread, it's still on page one...

No, not right now. Jason at HDscape said he was going to look into it. Not sure he ever came back with an answer. I just figure, at this stage in the game it's not realistic to expect them any time soon. But last year we were hoping to get just the single HD-DVD cases, and we got those with out too much wait. So eventually multiple disk cases will be available.


Although I will say that while I too initially wanted multiple disk cases, the disk rings on the single cases can hold several disks (3) quite easily, so my interest in multiple cases has waned quite a bit.

Ooooh...never thought of that.


Where do you buy empty HD-DVD cases that are capable of holding 3 disks easily like that?

His topic title is misleading as he is not talking about the Planet Earth case per sue; but he's really asking where to buy quadruple cases.
