Hey Everyone,


I am sure you get a hundred of these so sorry to ask. I am looking to move from my digital projector to a new TV this fall. I am looking at plasma tv's and my buddy highly recommends Panasonic as he has right now. I am looking at 46" up to 55" area and not too concerned on 3D, more good quality. Samsung?? Panasonic??. I would love to hear your recommendations... Thank you.

Top of the Line Flagships: Panasonic VT30 series and Samsung PND8000 series.


Upper-mid-level models: Panasonic GT30 series and Samsung PND7000 series.


Mid-Level models: Panasonic ST30 series and Samsung PND6500 series.


Panasonics have better build quality and customer service, but Samsungs cost less.

hey guys


thanks, I should have clarified further. 3D is no big deal for me so I am curious if the quality of these models is still better then the non 3D models. I am fine not getting 3D but good quality.

Most of the better plasmas are 3d models now. 3d technology has brought some 2d picture benefits as well.
