I'm looking at buying a 42HDT50 with in the next week. I haven't seen an HDT55 and was wondering if the 55 with the darker tinted screen looses anything to the 50 in terms of brightness and color and vividness ?
Also, I saw a stunning demo on a Philips 329954 display with their ebox. It was very much 3D like. I haven't seen this in any plasma or CRT yet. Can you get that sort of picture on the Hitachi or any other display or is this native to the Philips only. I'd be stuck with a smaller picture, but it may be worth it....
