set-up. I am waiting till after Xmas to order a 42 panny from Dell(saw previous post). Since I do not have a DVD player, I assume I need some sort of tuner. I have Time Warner cable no satellite. I would like some advice about tuners or if I need a STB. The system will be in a family room where kids watch regular tv. I will also need advice with a DVD player to compliment the panny in the future..............FAQs did not help out with the tuner issue. thanks Rudy

Just use a cable box from the cable company, make sure it has a composite video output and RCA audio outputs.

Do you have digital cable from TWC? If so, the box for the digital cable will suffice. But at least around here in NC, you have to get on a waiting list for an HD box. TWC is supposed to be introducing the major 4 local affiliates in HD after the new year so you could get the big 4 networks, plus HBO and SHO and maybe PBS. I think the wait time to get one of the HD boxes has cut down significantly, it used to be several to many months.
